Idiot of the Day: NBC Dallas-Fort Worth

Today’s nominee for Idiot of the Day is the Dallas-Fort Worth division of NBC. In our humble opinion, the Texas news organization’s article about chupacabras is the ultimate in stupidity.

Chupacabras are mythical creatures that resemble coyotes and are rumored to kill livestock. In Latin American countries, sightings of the alleged goat sucking animals abound.

According to NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, a Hood County animal control officer recently killed a chupacabra. To allegedly maintain journalistic integrity and bolster the case for there being such an unusual creature, NBC quoted the animal control officer, Frank Hackett, as saying: “It was ugly, real ugly, I’m not going to tell no lie on that one.”

We really hope NBC’s article isn’t what we will come to expect from the mainstream news media.

Idiot of the Day: Lt. Governor Andre Bauer

Today’s nomination for Idiot of the Day goes to South Carolina Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer, who compared people receiving government help to stray animals. He said, “Quit feeding stray animals because they breed.”

Our recommendation is to quit feeding politicians because they steal.
